# API

Overflow provides a REST API that lets your team integrate donor, donation, and other nonprofit data directly into your own systems and workflows. The API uses predictable, resource-oriented URLs, accepts JSON request bodies, returns JSON-encoded responses, and relies on standard HTTP verbs and status codes.
